Weird

Today was such a strange day. I just don't even know where to begin.

Weird things that happened to me today:
1. Pedro our old man friend pinched our cheeks this morning-- hard might I add-- as he told us we looked "guapa."
2. We watched the strangest movie in our culture class about a woman that comes back to life but you can't understand what's happening because, well... the subtitles are in Spanish too.
3. En route to the Reina Sofia Museum, some dude on the metro kept sketchily creeping close to me even as I kept moving away. Much to my dismay, he was on the metro next to me a few hours later on the way home.
4. A low-flying pigeon almost took our heads off.
5. The Reina Sofia in general was very strange. It was hard for me to appreciate the abstract art of Picasso and others after visiting the Prado.

Tonight we're going to get gelatto with some guys from the church and then have a study group for our exams tomorrow. Please be praying for all of us!

El Museo Reina Sofia: beautiful on the outside....

Strange on the inside...
"Art" made of straw. Looks like Trading Spaces gone wrong.
Egg-shell art. This was actually kind of cool, but still weird.
